GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE FOR KLARNA PURCHASE SERVICES
When you use Klarna's Shopping Services, these terms and conditions (‘Terms and Conditions’ or “Agreement”) apply and constitute a legally binding agreement/contract between Klarna Bank AB (publ) (‘Klarna’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’) and you as a user of our Klarna Shopping Service (“you”) regarding the services described below (the ‘Services’). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service and print a copy for your records and future reference. Do not use the Service if you do not wish to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms do not apply to Klarna's payment options. If you choose to pay with one of Klarna's payment options, additional terms apply specifically to the payment. All terms can be found at https://www.klarna.com/international/terms-and-conditions/.
By contacting our customer service, you can request older versions of the terms.
1. Description of the Service
We created Service K to offer you the best possible shopping experience, whether you shop online or in-store. The Service provides an efficient and inspiring shopping experience by offering a range of significant benefits. Your shopping experience should be centred around you. That's why we had you in mind when we created the Service and all its benefits. It will simplify your shopping, simplify the handling of purchase disputes or complaints about goods, inspire you and offer you personalised offers, allow you to control your purchases and give you an overview of your purchases. Links to products and shops in the Services may be sponsored or affiliated, which means that Klarna may receive a commission when you make purchases through these links.
The Service includes the following benefits:
1.1 Creation of a Klarna User Account
1.2 Auto-fill/Auto-login when paying in a shop or at checkout
1.3 Payment methods displayed according to your preferences and eligibility
1.4 Offers and benefits that you have actually enjoyed
1.5 Remembering your selected card and bank details
1.6 The Klarna app
1.7 The Klarna extension
1.8 Sign in With Klarna (‘SIWK’)
1.9 Klarna offers
1.1 Creating a Klarna User Account
When you register for the Service, we create a user account for you so that you can enjoy all the features of the Service (the ‘Klarna User Account’). Remember to always keep your contact details up to date on your Klarna User Account and add all your relevant delivery addresses.
You can choose to have your Klarna User Account remembered on a specific device, such as your mobile phone or tablet (the ‘Remember Me’ feature). You can do this on one or more of your devices. Avoid using this function on shared or public devices. By using this function, you will not have to log in and authenticate your Klarna User Account every time you use Klarna. This will give you a smooth shopping experience.
The ‘Remember me’ function places a device identifier, i.e. a ‘cookie’, on your device. You can delete all cookies on your device, which will also delete our cookies. For more information, please see our Notice on Tracking Technologies.
1.2 Auto-fill/Auto-login when paying in a shop or at checkout
To ensure you have a smooth shopping experience, we will store certain information about you and use this information to automatically fill in various forms with your details when you make purchases. This will save you time and allow you to focus on more important things than constantly entering the same information. By accepting these Terms, you agree that Klarna may disclose that you are a Klarna customer to shops and payment solutions with which you make purchases.
Pre-filling when shopping with Klarna
When you use Klarna for the first time, you will be asked to create a Klarna user account to facilitate your future interactions with Klarna. We will store this information in our systems so that when you return to us or use our service, you will only need to provide us with certain information. We will process all personal information we collect when you create your Klarna user account in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
When we are able to identify you, we can pre-fill certain information about you in the purchase process, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth and card details. Pre-filling is based on the information stored in your Klarna user account. An example of when pre-filling is used is when you shop directly from the Klarna app, or at a store checkout when you are logged in with Klarna.
Pre-filling through the entry of certain information
When you interact with Klarna, we may ask you for information about yourself, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth or personal identification number. We will store this information in our systems so that when you return to us or use our Service, you will only need to provide some of this information, such as your email address and postcode, or your personal identification number (depending on the country), so that we can pre-fill the remaining fields with your other information.
Pre-filling using a Klarna cookie
Another method we can use to pre-fill your information is to place a Klarna cookie on your device (computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.). You can choose to store your information such as name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, personal identification number and card details with Klarna. If you do so, we use the cookie to retrieve this information from Klarna's storage, and the cookie will help us pre-fill it when you shop with Klarna.
For more information about our use of cookies, see our Tracking Technologies Notice.
Disable pre-filling
If you do not wish to use the pre-filling features, you can contact us and we will disable them. You can also disable them from the Klarna app or by adjusting your pre-filling settings during the purchase process. You can delete all cookies on your device at any time, which will also delete our cookie.
Automatic login
Klarna allows you to automatically log in to your Klarna user account if you are already logged in to certain shops or payment solutions in a sufficiently secure manner. This means that you can then use Klarna's payment methods without having to log in manually via a separate authentication method from that of the shop or payment solution.
1.3 Payment methods displayed according to your preferences and eligibility
We will organise the order of your payment methods according to whether you have chosen a preferred payment method, have already used a specific payment method, or if we are required by law to display payment methods in a certain order.
However, in order to provide you with a smooth and frictionless shopping experience, we will also check your eligibility for each of the available payment methods before presenting them to you, so that we can clearly indicate which ones you can use for a specific purchase. Sometimes, different payment methods may be unavailable because the purchase amount is too low, the store does not allow them at all, or they do not allow them for a particular type of goods.
1.4 Offers and benefits you have actually enjoyed
Klarna may present offers and benefits such as discounts, special events, priority access to products, promotions, in-store offers, samples and gifts. The offers and benefits presented to you are based, among other things, on the number of purchases you have made, the amount you have spent and/or your use of Klarna's services or features. In some cases, specific terms and conditions may apply to these offers and benefits. These will be communicated to you at the same time as the offer or benefit.
1.5 Saving your card and bank details
When you make a purchase with Klarna, you can use several different payment options, such as debit, credit or prepaid cards, as well as payment from your bank account. We will store your payment information if you choose to pay with us, until you choose to delete it or close your Klarna user account. By saving your payment information with Klarna, you agree that Klarna will charge the saved card or bank account for future purchases with Klarna. You will not be charged until you have made a purchase or started a subscription. If the card or bank account you have chosen as your default cannot be debited for a purchase, including instalment transactions or subscriptions, you agree that Klarna may debit any of the other cards or bank accounts you have registered on your Klarna User Account.
1.6 The Klarna app
The Klarna app is an application accessible via your mobile devices or the web login page in your browser and is your shopping assistant. By using the Klarna app, you can pay for your purchases, compare products, track your parcels, preview your purchases, get shopping advice and much more. The services that are ultimately available to you may vary depending on your market. Some of these features are activated by downloading the Klarna app or logging in to the web login page, while others can be activated by you after logging in. Klarna wants to offer you the best shopping experience and allows you to search for a wide range of shops in the Klarna app. We may not have a business relationship with all of the retailers displayed or searchable in the Klarna app. In these cases, Klarna acts as a web browser or search engine, redirecting you to the retailer's website in the built-in web browser. The exact content of the features may vary depending on the market. Here are some of the features we are most proud of:
View your Klarna purchases and transactions
Manage your payments
Easy interaction with Klarna
Recommendations, offers, and other personalised content based on, for example, the shops you interact with and the products you view.
Fast, automated system for managing purchase disputes or complaints about goods
Examples of other features we may offer depending on the market version:
Shopping services such as search and comparison features, AI assistant chatbots that you can ask questions about products and that can help you with your shopping, an in-app browser, a preview of shops we think you'll like.
Shop using Klarna's payment methods, even in shops that don't yet use Klarna.
Track orders, deliveries or parcels.
Connect your email or account to see your orders placed by shops or entities not affiliated with Klarna.
Easy processing of returns and refunds.
Financial Overview allowing you to import transactions from your external bank accounts. We then use this information to provide an overview of your monthly budget, income and expenses, visualisation of balances (e.g. savings or purchases), and other spending information. We may also use it to present you with relevant offers to optimise your spending.
View and store your transactions, purchases, receipts, images and other purchase-related information.
CO2 footprint of your purchases.
Search for products by image, allowing you to take a photo of a product and then browse similar products.
Create and share collections of goods or services of your choice.
Share your transactions with other Klarna users.
Share your experience and thoughts with others about the shops and products you have purchased by submitting a review.
An assistant that suggests helping you fill in various information (such as payment method, card details, delivery address) using autofill (‘Smart Suggestions’). The suggested information differs depending on the information you have registered with us, both when using the Klarna app (including any payment method in the Klarna app) and when using Klarna as a payment method at a merchant (see the Auto-fill section above for more information).
View your transactions made with one of our subsidiaries Sofort GmbH, Billpay GmbH and Klarna Inc. This will only be possible after you have registered for the subsidiaries' services. Transaction data (e.g. name, address, bank account number/IBAN, sort code/BIC, reason for payment, date and amount, order details) will then be submitted to Klarna.
Option to download and store your third-party membership or loyalty cards for easy access when shopping. You can also link your loyalty memberships to Klarna and provide us with your location to receive relevant offers and get an overview of your loyalty membership information. (‘Loyalty Card Feature’).
The Loyalty Card Feature does not establish any affiliation between Klarna and the issuers of the loyalty cards. By using the Loyalty Cards Feature, you acknowledge that Klarna assumes no responsibility for the administration or delivery of loyalty cards or the benefits associated with them, nor for any damages, claims or other liabilities arising from or in connection with your use of loyalty cards.
Earn cashback on your purchases through the Klarna App, either as a percentage of the total amount of your purchases or as a fixed amount (with certain exclusions). These ‘cashback offers’ are limited-time promotional offers available in certain stores. Each cashback offer has its own terms and conditions, which are described in the cashback offer in the Klarna App.
An active Klarna balance account is required to receive the cashback earned.
For more information about the cashback programme or to understand the potential limitations, navigate to your Cashback homepage in the Klarna App.
Resell products you have purchased through Klarna on third-party resale platforms. Klarna reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to add or remove any of the available resale platforms.
If you choose to resell a product, Klarna will redirect you to a resale platform and pre-fill your registration by sharing your details with the resale platform. Klarna may, at its sole discretion, limit the use of the resale feature for certain products. In such cases, the resale feature will not be available. You acknowledge and agree that your use of the third-party resale platform will be governed by the terms and conditions of that platform. You also acknowledge and agree that Klarna has no responsibility for your use of the resale feature, including, but not limited to, the accuracy of the product listing, the resale of your product, the availability or your use of the third-party resale platform, and any damages, claims or other liabilities arising from or related to your use of the third-party resale platform.
We store information about your purchases and transactions (actual or planned) in the Klarna app. As part of the Service provided under these Terms, Klarna allows you to view information about your purchases and transactions in the Klarna app.
If you would like to learn more about how Klarna uses this information and other information we hold about you, please see our Privacy Policy.
The Klarna app offers sponsored content. Sponsored content is a post purchased by an advertiser that appears in the Klarna app. It may include text, an image, a video and links to a related website chosen by the advertiser. Sponsored content can be identified by the term ‘Ad’, “Promoted” or ‘Sponsored’ appearing either (i) in the middle of the post, under the advertiser's name, or (ii) as a badge in the top right-hand corner of the post.
The Klarna app is available through third-party distribution platforms (‘Affiliated Stores’). You may need to register with the relevant Affiliated Store. Klarna has no influence over the collection, processing and use of personal data by the operators of the respective Affiliated Stores.
1.7 The Klarna extension
1.7.1. Overview
The ‘Klarna Extension’ is a software application provided by Klarna for web browsers (web extension), app-integrated browsers (Klarna app) and/or iOS safari browsers (mobile extension), depending on the country version of the Klarna Extension you are using. The terms and conditions (‘Extension Terms’) in this section 1.7 apply only to your use of the Klarna Extension (hereinafter ‘Extension User’ or ‘you’).
The Klarna extension applies discount coupons based on the online presence of merchants collaborating with Klarna and selected by Klarna (‘Affiliated Stores’). Klarna receives commissions for referring our Klarna Extension Users to Partner Stores, and Klarna uses a portion of these commissions to pay for gift cards earned by our users who have accumulated points on Eligible Purchases. An ‘Eligible Purchase’ means a purchase for which the Partner Store offers points.
The Partner Stores available through the Klarna extension are entirely at Klarna's discretion and may vary from time to time.
All purchases you make are made directly from the Affiliated Stores and not from Klarna. The terms and conditions of each Affiliated Store apply to purchases made on its website, and Klarna assumes no responsibility for the products and/or services you purchase.
We have no control over the content of Affiliated Shop websites.
The additional features of the Klarna extension are available subject to an additional connection to the Klarna extension (see other descriptions below).
1.7.2 General information, eligibility
The Klarna extension can be used on Google Chrome and other web browsers supported from time to time. The technical accessibility of the Klarna extension on third-party web browsers is subject to the respective terms of use of those browsers and the technical limitations and specifications of any device on which the Klarna extension is to be installed.
The User of the extension must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age and have a European telephone number to use the Klarna extension, in addition to complying with the eligibility requirements and the Extension Terms and Conditions set out below. By installing, activating, enabling, using or otherwise accessing the Klarna extension, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and that these extension terms and conditions will govern your use of the Klarna extension.
1.7.3 Functions and limitations of the Klarna extension
The Klarna extension offers several features, some of which are only available to Users of the extension if they have previously registered an account dedicated to the Klarna extension. These features are divided into two categories: basic features, each of which is a ‘Basic Feature’, and advanced features, each of which is an ‘Advanced Feature’. Klarna continuously updates the Klarna extension with new advanced features and reserves the right to remove any Basic Feature or Advanced Feature at any time.
1.7.4 Prerequisites for Advanced Features
To use the Advanced Features, the Extension User must first create a Klarna User Account. To create a Klarna User Account, you must provide your contact details, i.e. a valid email address, postal address and/or European telephone number. Klarna reserves the right to verify your eligibility to create a Klarna User Account.
1.7.5 Basic features of the Klarna extension
If the retailer you are visiting is one of our Partner Stores, when you reach the Partner Store checkout, you will be notified in your browser if there are any coupons available and you will have the option to activate the coupons. If you choose to display the available coupons, the Basic Function will then show you the coupons available for the Partner Store.
All coupons and discounts are provided by the Affiliated Shop. The terms and conditions relating to coupons are subject to the terms and conditions of the Affiliated Shop concerned. Klarna always strives to provide accurate coupons. However, we do not guarantee the availability of coupons or that the coupons or discounts are accurate, complete, up to date or free from errors, or that these coupons or discounts will result in the lowest price for an item. Klarna may receive a commission on your transaction.
Here are some examples of other basic features that may be available to you depending on the version of the Klarna extension in your country:
Create and share collections of goods or services of your choice (wish lists).
Our price comparison tool. The price comparison tool searches for the best prices on the relevant Amazon website by comparing sellers for you. Please note that Amazon and Klarna are not affiliated. Prices on Amazon may change, and the results of our price comparison tool are only valid at the time the comparison is made. Klarna does not become a party to any agreement you enter into with Amazon, nor is it responsible for any issues arising from existing contractual relationships between you and third parties. Klarna always strives to provide you with information that is as complete and accurate as possible. However, we collect information from public sources. Our intention is that all information relating to the price comparison tool is accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee the reliability or accuracy of the information.
1.7.6 Advanced features of the Klarna extension
Klarna Rewards
This feature allows a User of the extension to accumulate points on Eligible Purchases in a dedicated Klarna User Account in the Klarna Extension (‘Points’). One Point is equivalent to £1. The number of Points accumulated on an Eligible Purchase may be set individually by each Affiliated Shop and may be changed by each Affiliated Shop from time to time.
Points can be collected by following the process described below. You do not need to log in to the Klarna extension at the time of purchase to collect Points. However, to view your current Points balance or redeem that amount (subject to these Extension Terms), you must log in and provide us with your name, email address and postal address, unless you have already provided this information to Klarna.
Points are accrued on the net purchase amount. The net purchase amount for determining Points excludes taxes, fees, shipping costs, gift wrapping, returns or cancellations, and extended warranties.
Points cannot be awarded if all or part of your order is returned, modified or cancelled.
To earn and redeem Points, the following steps must be followed:
Points are only earned by making purchases that are Eligible Purchases in Participating Stores. Participating Stores may exclude certain products and purchases from the Klarna Reward Advanced Feature.
The availability of Points for a particular Eligible Purchase will be indicated in the Klarna extension. The Klarna extension will display the number of Points available during the User's shopping session on the specific extension. A ‘Shopping Session’ describes the uninterrupted process of selecting products until payment for the Qualifying Purchase is made on an Affiliated Store's website.
Once an Extension User has reached the checkout page of an Affiliated Store, and after an Extension User has placed products or services in the relevant checkout basket, the Extension User must activate the Points by clicking on the corresponding button. The terms and conditions of an Affiliated Store apply to purchases made on its website.
After activating the Points, an Extension User must complete the purchase during the same Shopping Session in order to accumulate Points.
Points cannot be exchanged retrospectively for one or more items that you have already purchased.
A user of the extension must ensure that all technical criteria are met in order to activate and receive Points, including the activation of cookies and Java script on your web browser.
You must log in to your Klarna User Account in the Klarna extension from the device used for the Purchase Session within fourteen (14) days of each Purchase Session so that we can allocate Points to your Klarna User Account.
Points correctly earned during a Purchase Session will be credited to a Klarna User Account within thirty (30) days of the expiry of the period specified in the return policy (contractual and/or legal) of an Affiliated Shop (i.e. as long as you can return the item or service you have purchased). During the period specified in the return policy, Points are classified as Pending.
The Extension User must collect a total of 25 Points (minimum) in order to redeem the Points for a gift card (the ‘Payment Threshold’). You must have the number of Points required for a gift card in your Klarna User Account at the time of redemption. You cannot redeem Points that have not yet been credited to your Klarna User Account.
Subject to any other requirements in these Extension Terms, once the Extension User has reached the Payment Threshold, we will send an email to the Extension User's registered email address containing a redemption code that the Extension User can use to convert the Points into a gift card. You will find more information on how to do this in the email you receive. Klarna may change or add gift card providers at its discretion. Gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the gift card provider and the relevant merchant, if applicable. If you have any questions about gift cards, you can contact our customer service team and we will provide you with further assistance.
Once you have reached the Payment Threshold and we have sent you an exchange code, the exchanged Points will no longer be available in your Klarna User Account and your Points balance will be adjusted accordingly.
You will need to choose a gift card. Klarna will not be liable for any errors you make when selecting a gift card and/or using that gift card.
Points:
They can only be earned, stored or redeemed as set out in these Extension Terms and Conditions.
They cannot be used as credit, debit or for any other purpose.
They can only be exchanged for gift cards as set out in these Extension Terms; they have no redeemable monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
They cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged (to another Klarna User Account or otherwise) or used for any other purpose, except as specified in these Extension Terms and Conditions or otherwise in writing by Klarna.
They are specific to your Klarna User Account and cannot be combined with Points earned by another person and/or exchanged together.
If someone else accesses your Klarna User Account, you may lose any Points you have earned.
You can check your Points balance on your Klarna User Account at any time by logging into your Klarna User Account in your Klarna extension. If you decide to check your balance, you will be responsible for any connection and/or data charges you incur in doing so. Please also note that we will not be liable for any communication failure arising from events beyond our control which, for example (but not limited to), would have the following consequences: you are unable to check your Points balance, or your Points balance is not updated or is slow to update. You can also confirm your Points balance at any time by contacting Customer Service.
We reserve the right to correct or modify the Points balances on your Klarna User Account or to suspend redemption codes if Points have been awarded to you in error or if we reasonably believe that there has been misuse of the Klarna extension or that an error has occurred. If you wish to request such a correction or modification of your Points balance or the suspension of an exchange code, please contact Customer Service.
Comptes inactifs
1.8 Sign in With Klarna (SIWK)
Sign in With Klarna (‘SIWK’) allows you to easily and securely log in and authenticate to third-party applications and services using your Klarna user account. You will not need to remember individual usernames and passwords for each application or service. These third-party applications and services are provided by companies other than Klarna. If you do not yet have an account with the third-party application or service, the shared data will be used to register you for the service, which typically involves creating a new account with the third-party application or service.
When you use SIWK on a third-party application or service, Klarna will share your name, phone number and email address from your Klarna user account with that third party. With some third parties or services, you will also have the option to share additional information, depending on your choice. The shared data will be used by the third party to verify whether you already have an existing account with the third party and to log you in if you do. If you do not have an account with the third-party application or service, the shared data will be used to facilitate the creation of an account with the third party. If you use SIWK on a third-party application or service, Klarna will continuously share the information you have approved with the third party. For example, if you update your Klarna user account information, Klarna will share these updates with the third-party application or service. Depending on the enabled functionality of the third-party application or service, SIWK may also automatically log you into your Klarna account when you make a purchase with the third-party application, eliminating the need for manual login through a separate authentication method.
You can withdraw the third-party application's authorisation to receive information from your Klarna user account at any time. You can do this via the Klarna app or by contacting our customer service team. Please note that withdrawing Klarna's authorisation to share information will not affect the third party's account.
When you use SIWK, Klarna does not have access to your third party's account, nor does the third party have access to your Klarna user account.
Important: In addition to the data shared by Klarna, the third party may ask you for additional information directly. This additional information will not be shared with Klarna. All information will be used by the third-party app or service as described in their privacy notice or elsewhere. Be sure to read these before you start using SIWK on a specific third party.
1.9 Klarna Offers
Klarna may offer you discounts when you pay with Pay Now, Pay Later and Pay in 4/3 at the checkout of Klarna's partner stores (‘Klarna Offers’).
Klarna Offers is a discount offered by Klarna that will be automatically applied at checkout when paying with Klarna in Klarna partner stores (stores that offer Klarna as a payment option) via their websites or in the Klarna App. Klarna Offers are not available on third-party websites or apps.
Each Klarna Offer is subject to specific terms and conditions, such as the percentage or amount of the discount, terms of use and promotion period (‘Klarna Offer Terms and Conditions’). You can access the Klarna Offer Terms and Conditions by email, through the Klarna purchase flow or in the Klarna App.
The Klarna Offer will apply to any Klarna payment method available at the checkout of partner stores, with the exception of the single-use card. It is not necessary to use a Klarna loan product to benefit from the discount; you can pay with Klarna Pay Now.
If multiple Klarna Offers are available in the same partner store, the highest discount will apply.
The Klarna Offer will not be reflected on store receipts; please check your Klarna purchase receipt.
Klarna reserves the right to change the Klarna Offer based on availability, store participation or technical issues, as well as the right to withdraw the Klarna Offer from customers suspected of fraud.
Klarna may receive a commission from the store.
1.10 Currency conversion
If Klarna initiates a currency conversion, the exchange rate at the time you make your purchase will be applied. The exchange rate includes a currency conversion margin that includes Klarna's exchange rate mark-up, in addition to the base exchange rate. The base exchange rate is derived from the rates available on the wholesale foreign exchange markets on the day of conversion or the previous business day. The exchange rate will be presented to you before you finalise your purchase. If required by law, the rate will be determined using the applicable government reference rate.
The conversion rate will be communicated to you before you finalise your purchase. This section applies unless otherwise stated in the product-specific terms and conditions.
If you pay with a credit card and Klarna determines that a currency conversion is necessary, you authorise Klarna to perform the conversion on behalf of your card issuer.
Exchange rate fluctuations may work in your favour or against you in the event of returns or refunds. If you request a partial or full refund after making a return, you will be responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations.
2. Are there any costs for the Services?
Klarna grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use the Service. The Service described in these Terms, including the features of the Klarna App, is free of charge, unless expressly stated otherwise. If you use one of Klarna's payment options, different terms and conditions apply and interest and fees may be charged. Please check the information provided for the payment method you have chosen.
3. Changes to the Services and Terms
We may make changes to these Terms from time to time for the following reasons:
to optimise existing features of the Services or add new features to the Services;
to make these Terms clearer or easier to understand;
to comply with legal, regulatory or security requirements that apply to us; or
to make technical adjustments to ensure the future functionality of the Services; or
to adapt the Services to our business strategy, which may include discontinuing existing features.
We will give you 30 days' notice to inform you of any changes that may have a negative impact on you - however, all new features can be used immediately. By continuing to use the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms, you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, your only option is to stop using the Services, or to contact customer service at any time to terminate this Agreement. You can find more information on how to terminate this Agreement in the section ‘Term and Termination of this Agreement’ below.
4. Privacy and your personal data
How Klarna processes your personal information when we provide our services is described in our Privacy Policy. There you will also find more information about your rights regarding your personal information, as well as how you can contact us if you have any questions.
5. Your obligations
When using the Services, you must always provide accurate information and use your real identity. As stated in Section 12, you must keep your contact details up to date. Using information that does not belong to you, or that you are not authorised to use, or using the Services in a manner that does not comply with these Terms, will be considered misuse. You may not use the Services in a manner that violates any applicable law or to purchase an item that is illegal in your country. You are not permitted to use software or devices designed to disrupt the Services or to extract personal data or other data from other people.
If you upload, share or import content to Klarna, such as images, text, reviews, receipts, information about goods, pseudonyms, services or deliveries, or any other content, you grant Klarna a royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable worldwide right to use and display the content for the purpose of providing the Services. You acknowledge that by sharing content with others, you are making it publicly available, which means that information about you is made available to others and may be used and shared by others. You may only upload, post or share content that you have the right to use and that does not violate the law or other regulations, these Terms or the rights of third parties.
We reserve the right to remove any content you have uploaded or shared if we are required to do so by law, or if we believe it is offensive, illegal, infringes on the rights of others, or is otherwise objectionable. You are responsible for any content you upload, publish, or share. You agree not to upload, publish or share any content that is illegal, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, infringes on the rights of others, is offensive or criminal (such as hate speech against ethnic groups, child pornography or illegal depictions of violence) or transmit content containing viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, adware, malware or other harmful or disruptive programs; distribute unsolicited advertising (spam) or any other form of harassment. Klarna reserves the right, without obligation, to monitor, review, adjust, disable or remove content for the reasons mentioned above.
